Glanceful Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies only to the Glanceful iOS app and its Lock Screen widget.
Data stored by Glanceful
Glanceful stores the texts and emoji you enter, rotation frequency, text alignment, current selection, and recently deleted items locally on your device. The app and widget use this information only to display and manage your Lock Screen text.
The app and widget share this data through an app group stored on your device.
Data collection and sharing
The developer does not collect personal data or usage data from Glanceful. The app does not transmit your texts or settings off your device for developer or third-party access.
Glanceful has no app accounts, cloud synchronization, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Glanceful does not sell your data or share your texts and settings with third parties.
Purchases
Glanceful Plus is an optional one-time purchase. Glanceful communicates with Apple through StoreKit to load prices, purchase Plus, and restore or verify purchases. Apple processes payments; Glanceful does not receive your payment card details.
The app stores your verified Plus access status and its verification date locally on your device and shares them with its widget through the app group. Your texts and settings are not sent to Apple as part of this purchase flow.
Apple handles purchase data under its App Store privacy notice.
Data retention and deletion
Deleted texts remain in the Bin until you restore or permanently delete them. To remove all Glanceful data from your device, delete the app. Offloading the app may preserve its data.
The developer does not hold your app data on a server. Deleting Glanceful does not delete purchase records held by Apple.
Security and Lock Screen visibility
Glanceful relies on the security protections provided by iOS and your device. Your texts and settings stay on your device. Core widget features work offline; purchasing or restoring Plus requires an App Store connection.
Anyone who can see your Lock Screen can read text shown by the widget. Do not display sensitive information there.
Changes
This policy may be updated if Glanceful’s data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published.
