Glanceful Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies only to the Glanceful iOS app and its Lock Screen widget.

Data stored by Glanceful

Glanceful stores the texts and emoji you enter, rotation frequency, text alignment, current selection, and recently deleted items locally on your device. The app and widget use this information only to display and manage your Lock Screen text.

The app and widget share this data through an app group stored on your device.

The developer does not collect personal data or usage data from Glanceful. The app does not transmit your texts or settings off your device for developer or third-party access.

Glanceful has no accounts, cloud synchronization, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Glanceful does not sell or share data with third parties.

Data retention and deletion

Deleted texts remain in the Bin until you restore or permanently delete them. To remove all Glanceful data from your device, delete the app. Offloading the app may preserve its data.

Because the developer does not collect or store your data, there is no server-held data to access or delete.

Security and Lock Screen visibility

Glanceful relies on the security protections provided by iOS and your device. The app does not transmit your data over a network.

Anyone who can see your Lock Screen can read text shown by the widget. Do not display sensitive information there.

Changes

This policy may be updated if Glanceful’s data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published.
